About the project
Funding Radar is an independent tool built by one developer — not an exchange, a broker or a fund. It shows funding rates for crypto perpetuals across five exchanges with a 2–5 minute lag and answers two questions: where the payout is right now, and whether it is worth entering once fees are counted. Below: who makes it, where the numbers come from and why they can be trusted.
What this is
A tool, not a publication
The radar does not forecast and does not issue trade signals. It collects public exchange numbers, normalizes them into a comparable form and shows what follows: where the rate is extreme, when the settlement is, and what remains after fees.
Who runs it
One developer builds and maintains the project. The identity is deliberately not disclosed: here the numbers being verifiable matters more than a name, and everything trust needs is open — the formulas, the checks, and your own ability to compare any value against the exchange.
Who it is for
People trading perpetuals: settlement sniping, delta-neutral pairs across exchanges, carry holding. And anyone who simply wants to understand why their position was charged.
Where the data comes from
Five exchanges, public interfaces
Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Hyperliquid — their own public programming interfaces only, with no aggregator in between. Polling every 2–5 minutes across roughly 2,700 perpetual pairs.
Nobody needs keys
The radar neither asks for nor stores exchange keys: everything it shows is publicly available. It does not place trades and cannot place them.
Data age is stated honestly
Numbers trail the exchange by 2–5 minutes by design, and that is not hidden: machine surfaces print the age in seconds, and a predicted rate is always kept separate from a charged one.
Why the numbers can be trusted
The formulas are public
Every value on the site follows a formula published on the methodology page, with units and assumptions. There are no hidden coefficients.
Checks run on their own
Invariants over the live database, a nightly reconciliation of payout history against the exchanges, and a weekly sweep of three dozen checks. Separately: a sample of live values is compared against the exchanges BYPASSING our own connectors — our data checked by our own formulas stays green right up until the figure diverges from the source.
Mistakes are fixed in the open
Discrepancies are not swept away: the project's history includes a rate halved on one exchange and three unit errors in liquidation sums — all written up and closed with checks so they cannot repeat.
How the project pays for itself
The core is free
The radar, pair cards, settlement calendar, calculator and hedged pairs are available without signup. Data is neither sold nor passed to third parties.
Subscription and referral links
Part of it — a personal bot with your pairs and thresholds — is paid. Links to exchanges may be referral ones: this changes no number on the site and does not affect which pairs reach the radar, because the order is set by rate and volume, not by agreements.
Where else the radar lives
Telegram channels
Open channels with events in Russian and English, plus a raw feed of openings. Links are in the site header and below.
For AI assistants
The radar connects to an assistant as an MCP server: six read-only tools, free and without keys. There are also machine mirrors of the pages in plain text.
What the radar does not do
It gives no investment advice and promises no returns: the rate moves every few minutes, and a past price move guarantees nothing.
It places no trades and has no access to your accounts.
It collects no personal data beyond what login and settings require, and does not sell it.
It shows no third-party signals and repeats no rumours — only measurable exchange numbers.
Frequently asked
Is this an official service of some exchange?
No. The project is independent of all five exchanges and connected to them by nothing except the public programming interfaces they open to everyone.
Can the numbers be trusted if the author is not named?
Trust here rests on verifiability rather than a name: the formulas are published, the checks are described, and any number can be compared against the exchange directly — the methodology page shows exactly where.
Is the data paid?
No. The radar, cards, calendar and calculator are free and require no signup. Only the personal part is paid — the bot with your pairs and thresholds.
